Ex-VM Galang not a suicide – Pangasinan police
The Pangasinan Provincial Police Office on April 3 officially ruled out the death of former Calasiao Vice Mayor Ferdinand Galang as suicide.
The ex-politiko was found dead inside his home in Barangay Mancup, Calasiao last April 1.
The police said they found no evidence whatsoever that the deceased committed suicide after Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) investigated the body and the premises.
Galang served as vice mayor of Calasiao for only less than six months till he resigned in December last year.
He was found inside his locked room in kneeling position with his face down with blood coming out from his mouth nose at about 8:00 a.m.
Investigators said Galang may have died of heart attack as he was suffering from hypertension and had a prostate disorder based on a statement made by his elder sister Julie.
