De Venecia bats for 2 tourism projects in Dagupan City
In line efforts to improve its tourism potential, Pangasinan 4th District Rep. Christoper “Toff” De Venecia has proposed two vital tourism-related projects in Dagupan City.
The politiko said that these projects are now for funding under the 2018 national budget, whose preparation is now ongoing in the House of Representatives.
De Venecia identified these as a board walk along the Tondaligan Beach in Bonuan and a promenade along the Pantal River in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City, similar to the Esplanade in Iloilo.
Both of these will cost hundreds of millions of pesos and will soon be considered as among the biggest investments to come to the city.
The board walk is where beach lovers can have a leisurely stroll during early morning and late afternoon while enjoying the cold breeze from the Lingayen Gulf.
The promenade is also like a board walk but is set along the Pantal River where folks can walk and relax after a day-long grind and enjoy seeing the beauty of the river and its still teeming aquatic life.
