Bongbong Marcos goes home on Ilocos Norte bicentennial
There’s no place like home.
Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. took a break from the electoral protest he filed against Vice President Leni Robredo and went back to Ilocos Norte this week.
The province is celebrating its 200th anniversary!
“You know you’re home when the smiles are sweeter, the hugs tighter and the greetings more heartfelt. It’s always good to be home,” said Marcos.
He then congratulated his sister and Governor Imee Marcos for hosting the celebration.
“Congratulations to my Manang Governor Imee for a very successful bicentennial celebration befitting the greatness of the Ilocanos. Such splendid performances amidst vibrant colors and exhilarating music that truly depict the beauty and talent of my kailian,” said Marcos.
“My boys and I will always be proud to be Ilocanos! Naragsak a panagkasangay Ilocos Norte. Tan-Ok Ilocos! Dios ti agngina kadatayo amin!” he added
