Banaue seeks changes in tourism laws
Banaue Vice Mayor Joel Bungallon said the municipal government is seek to raise the town’s environmental fees to P50.
The Ifugao politko said the proposed standardized fee will be collected from visitors upon registration at the Banaue tourism center.
Bungallon also said the municipal government plans to establish a centralized loading and unloading area for buses near the tourism center.
He said tourist registration will enable the municipal government to keep track of all who visit Banaue.
Bungallon added the proposal aims to keep tourists and locals safe.#
